Name: Finn
Age: 13 months
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Color Inspiration: My family and I live in a rented house, which means we're not allowed to paint and that the blue wall color in Finn's room was inherited. Even though I didn't choose it I wanted to make the best of it. I took the blue and filled it out with accessories.
Give Alison & Finn a THUMBS UP if you think this room belongs in the finals!

You have a cool cool room Dude!
I love the room the colors awesome, also love the color of the crib ... where is the light above the sofa from? Great job!!!!!
Does anyone know where I can get a changer like that to fit on top of a crib? That looks like a great organizational solution in our new baby's bedroom!
Well done!
adorable!
Weird that they wouldn't let you paint over such a dramatic color. But good job working around it!
stlprintchick -- both the crib and changer are from oeuf

hope that helps!
Thanks for the comments and thumbs up everyone.
brenda_679's the light is from Ikea, it looks cool and is pretty affordable.
Great, great job working with that color and finding other colorful things to coordinate with it. I do like the blue-it pops and is not the "traditional" baby blue you see in some nurseries.
great blue! love the curtains & blanket.
i want his toy collection.
Grrreat room! Where is the blanket from? Love it!
The Ripple blanket was hand made with love by me. Thanks for the comments!

Gorgeous room...you totally made the blue work.
Now...I NEED to know where you found those fabulous curtains (or the fabric to make them with). Love the vibrant colors and mod design! Well done.
The traditional afghan's geometric lines go great with all the contemporary fabrics and paint treatments. I love this room. Barb in Iowa
Thanks again for the comments everyone, I really appreciate all the feedback.
The Chair is from room and board, I don't think they make that style any more but they have tons of other great furniture.
The Curtains are from Ikea, you can buy them in panels and them hem them to size.
Love the vintage Little People! My mom sold all mine at a garage sale and they were always my favorite toys! I also love the toy shelving. Is that vintage too?
love the little people!
my son has a ton of vintage little people as well! i remembered playing with them a bunch as a child and although we still had quite a few of mine saved i went on ebay and bought some as well. :D
the ripple blanket is beautiful!
Totally adorable and so creative. Who would have thought that you were working with an old paint job. This room is a winner...Now, tell me, does it always stay this neat??? Loved the picture of Finn reading.
