German designers Kristin Laass and Norman Ebelt have created a kitchen that when closed is only 1 square meter. Find out more about this minimal and compact design after the jump.
Featured at the DMY International Design Festival Berlin 2010, this tiny kitchen features a refrigerator, induction cooktop, oven, and storage space. While it's currently still in the prototyping stage, imagine how this could be used in loft apartments, far-off cabins, and beautifully designed small spaces!
Allowing for the space around the module to change as needs are met screams sustainable and thoughtful design. Good thing it's great looking too!
