These high-end clients wanted a home that was similar in style to the boutique hotels they visit while traveling. Limited on space, the combined living/dining room is adaptable and transitional…
There was not a lot of room for a formal dining room and living room, so we combined spaces. With this new arrangement, it is possible to move the dining table to be a part of the banquette seating or center it in the room for more formal events. The under stair storage highlights the clients glass collection as well as stores their TV, and room for luggage below. It's the highlight of the entire space.
Upstairs in the open area, we converted two closets into an open bar, with lounge seating and large plasma TV it's the perfect place to watch football with friends.
Thanks Mary Jo!

I love it - I could move right in!
I love it when you all show small spaces. I think the use of space was excellent and well planned out. So many house have staircases and I think this is a great example of what you can do.
I lust for this under-stair set-up. Wow. So well done.
not my cup of tea..
the understair built ins are great
The concept is great, the materials kindd of scream late 90s modern europe to me though...
I like the use of lines, the wood material... eh, i agree with KyleAD, screams 90s. but over all nice work!
