Small Space Desk Chair

We have friends in Japan and still find ourselves amazed with the sizes of apartments that are considered normal there. With 200 square feet you have to be very smart with furniture so it is no wonder that this desk/ chair combination is coming out of Japan.

A simple concept consisting of a telescoping arm attached to a flat surface on one end and the chair on the other, the first thing that came to our mind is that this would be a perfect Ikea Hacker project. Hopefully someone does this and uses a better looking chair.
