This tiny weekend getaway may not have all of the comforts of home, but it roughs it in style. Just how can your small apartment take a few cue's?
There is actually a lot of small space inspiration in this simple little retreat:
- Uniform palette throughout: The area is expanded by sticking to like colors from space to space.
- Outdoor access: Direct access to the outdoors makes a small space feel more expansive.
- Designated "rooms": Even if you only have one room, designating separate functions within the space lets you dwell in and use your small home in a multitude of ways.
Most of the shelter is finished in neutrals and black, with little accents of lime green. A wash basin rests on a bright green stand and small green footstools work as ottomans/occasional tables in a compact yet comfy sitting area.
