Recently we started shopping around for a tiny desk to fit in a tiny space. But everything we seemed to find had obtrusive legs and little to no storage...or it was just plain ugly...or worse, wobbly. Let's be honest, we'd rather have a too big desk than a small ugly one that wobbles, right? Well, we've found our dream desk and it's already a classic with a story:
The Pom's Desk from Ligne Roset has the smallest profile we've seen with an elegant sillhouette and the best part? The top hinges down to create a little nook for your laptop to live when you're not working on it. Plus there are little cubbies on each side that are the perfect size for sheets of papers or notes that you don't want cluttering up the top. And the name? You know how on a Mac sometimes people say 'Apple Shift 4' instead of 'Command Shift 4'? Well, in France pomme is apple, so they're constantly saying to pomme this and pomme that. So in honor of the most common command while sitting at a desk, the desk is named Poms.

Ooooh that looks perfect! Any idea on the price?
i wonder about the price too.
i'm looking for a small desk to replace a larger desk i currently have. it seems all the ones i find are too long.
i really like these two from CB2, just wish they were a little cheaper.
like the base from this one

and this one minus the shelf

I know the pricing is over $1,000 which is why it's a dream desk for me and not yet a reality!
oooh - i love that! here's another apparently less-expensive small desk that i dig (via CB2):

be sure to look at the photos of it in the room, as it's cooler than the initial pic looks.
