Small Space Solution: ReStyle Modular Coffee Table

If there is one thing that all of us Apartment Therapy bloggers preach, it's that multifunctional furniture is the best bang for your buck and the best way to take up your space. Case in point...the ReStyle Modular Coffee Table. This furniture grouping reminiscent of Tetris allows the owner to produce an endless array of uses from what is originally a relatively small footprint. Designed by James Howlett in the UK, ReStyle can be reconfigured from a coffee table to be used as two tables with two chairs, storage, a table with a chair and bookcase, a TV and games unit or a dining table for kids.

Beyond being versatile, sustainability was also on the mind of the designer when creating ReStyle. ReStyle utilizes FSC certified plywood, faced in either FSC certified Oak Veneer or Formica (made from 70% recycled paper) and is finished with a natural oil made from pressed seeds. In lieu of traditional screws, rare-earth magnets were employed so that each part could be easily removed at the end of its useful life and eventually recycled.
