It serves us well to take inspiration from all over, and though we don't specialize in country-themed interiors, we came across some great solutions for small spaces courtesy of Country Home… 1. Colorful Entry A graphic wallpaper pattern enlivens the small foyer and creates a sense of movement in this passage area between rooms. 2. Cozy Living Room Scaled-down upholstered furniture pieces give the room all the function of a larger one, and built-in bookcases highlight the large windows and provide ample storage space. 3. Compact Kitchen A beautiful but small stove is the only visible appliance in the kitchen. The dishwasher and refrigerator are hidden behind cabinet panels so the room isn't overwhelmed by stainless steel. 4. Small Space Palette A matching treatment on floors, walls, and ceilings blurs the edges of these surfaces. 5. Cozy Sitting Room Because of their light colors and airy textures, furniture pieces seem smaller. A display of white plates up the wall expands the room vertically. 6. Comfortable Bedroom A large pattern in the wallpaper gives the eye something to grasp onto in this otherwise small and architecturally insignificant bedroom. 7. Sunny Dining Room A round pedestal style gives the maximum amount of legroom to the people seated closely around this small table. 8. Bright, White Kitchen Exposed upper shelving keeps half the heft of a normal kitchen from encroaching upon this bright space. 9. Living Room Nook The light-colored walls are again creating visual space, this time with help from a dramatic vaulted ceiling. 10. Sleeping Alcove A bed is fitted to the exact space available for it, without wasting any opportunity for storage. Via: Country Home
