The issue we always had with digital photo frames were that they were always too small....or too expensive. Why would someone pay hundreds of dollars when regular photos could be printed on paper in larger sizes, look better and be cheaper? It seems that Smartpants (yes, that's the name of a digital frame company) has taken care of two out of three.
At 32 inches, this is by far the biggest digital picture frame that we have seen. So big in fact that we question why you would buy this and not a TV. The resolution is 1366x768 in a 16:9 format, we still think TV. The difference comes from the Wi-Fi connectivity and integrated Microsoft Photo Gallery, which could be a nice thing, but unlike a TV, this photo frame will need to be on all the time. At this size, this would have a pretty negative impact on your electrical bill. We will stick with our printed and framed photos for now....or maybe split the difference and just frame our TV.
