Smiles All Around at Mia's Smile Booth Party

Mia and Ted didn't let a small budget, the recent birth of their son or a gloomy forecast stand in the way of a festive, fun party for their three-year old Mia. One of the central features was a "smile booth" which is officially our new favorite party trend.

They used a colorful tablecloth as a backdrop along with a fabric banner and brought along fun props to capture sweet and silly moments of their daughter and her guests in their homemade photo booth. Such fun!

In between bites of delicious food, cake and cupcakes, kids played bowling with a set of pins and ball and each received a roll-up chalkboard mat, stickers and some healthy snacks. You can see more photos of Mia's smile-inducing party at here parents' blogs (mom and dad).

momonflight - i don't think it matters who did it first with a kids party - I honestly don't think kids, or parents would even care - how many playcentre, mcdonalds, fairy etc parties have you been too - I bet not once you thought 'geez, someone else came up with this idea first!'

its fabulous to see parents doing something thoughtful and handmade for a party - there should be way more I say!..

CandyK, I totally agree with you. :-) We all take inspiration from somewhere or something.
What I meant was about citing. When one is published on a well known blog such as this one, it is kind of nice when they also thank their inspiration.
