Christiane Lemieux (founder of DwellStudio) tells us: "Catalog shopping has been around for more than a century. Unfortunately, a lot of what I see in my mailbox every week looks about a hundred years old. We wanted to create a catalog for the way people really live now."

One thing that we've always liked about DwellStudio is their color palette and it clearly comes through in the catalog, as you see the flow of the colors across the pages and product lines. It is an interesting range of strong hues that all work well together, making it fairly foolproof to mix and match the patterns in a way that always reads as fresh and modern to our eye.

A nice touch are the editorial comments peppered throughout in a larger, more hand drawn font - a la Domino. These little asides are what give the pages life - everything from decor tips and ideas to try at home to what makes the products special - they definitely are our favorite piece of the catalog design.
These are already in the mail, so if you are on the DwellStudio list, keep an eye on the mailbox. If not, and you would like to request a catalog, you can do so right here.

I think Dwell has done a great job at bringing good designs to the bedding world.
My issue with Dwell is the poor quality and the high price tag. I would much rather buy sheets from Yves Delorme's Outlet (online) for the highest quality sheets that will last forever for about the same price.
Oooh, I want one! :D
I love the look of Dwell, but not the price!
Does anyone recognize the curtains in that top photo?
I totally agree with LoriSF. I bought a duvet cover set in the gray draper stripe and was disappointed by the quality of the fabric. I felt ripped off given the high price tag and also finding out that it was made in China.
Have that stripe bedding too - I love it and everyone that comes to my apt goes out and buys it. Seriously, I think I have sold at least 10 duvets for them in that print.
Dwell has consistently been one of the the best textile designers on the market. If you think it's too pricey try their Target line?
Excited to see the new catalog...
I bought a dwell duvet cover and shams from anthropologie in the old silhouette pattern. I really like it--well made and nice pattern. I liked it so much that the next time I saw one on sale (from a different store but the same pattern just a different color), I ordered it. I was quite surprised to find that the quality was not the same. the anthropologie cover was well finished with piping, the one from the other store was not as well finished and didn't have piping.
Hi Stink & LoriSF,
It's Molly here from DwellStudio!
We love constructive criticism and an open dialog with our customers. And, just so you know, in our constant quest for the best manufacturing, printing and pricing, we switched to a family-owned Portuguese mill a couple of years ago. We are so thrilled with the new quality that we would love to send you a set so you can test drive the new ones for the AT audience. If you're interested, please email me at mpeterson@dwellstudio.com.
MollyPeterson thank you for the reply that is good to know because I have always loved and love the new designs. Also, very generous offer. Thanks.
