A new line of Adler-ized sinks is "officially" launching next week at ICFF, but we got the scoop a few days early. Not surprisingly, considering the designer's always upbeat style sensibility, the collection is color drenched and happily more than a touch unexpected in an area that is often woefully safe. Adding some zing to your kitchen and bath renovation just got a little bit easier — more colors below...

The limited edition collection consists of six enameled cast iron sinks available in four Adler-approved colors. As is often the case with Jonathan Adler's work, these colorful, exuberant, fearless colors remind us not to take the fun stuff (like designing your new bathroom or kitchen) too seriously.

Jonathan's thoughts on the colors in the collection:
• Greenwich Green - "This is not dull avocado green. It's bolder, yet timeless. So crisp and refreshing you can taste it."
• Piccadilly Yellow: "There's a very mod quality to Piccadilly yellow, especially when paired with white. It's unexpected and will always feel fresh."
• Palermo Blue: "A nice, crisp light blue is cool and refreshing, like taking a dip in the Med itself."
• Annapolis Navy: "Annapolis Navy epitomizes nautical chic. It's such a classic color because it pairs so well with other bold colors."

The photos here show how the sinks can wake up and add a bit of bold design chutzpah to an otherwise basic white backdrop. This is one no-fail way to do super style on a budget ; by going with the single blast of color as your key piece you can source your all-white tiles and other fixtures with ease at whatever price point your budget allows.
We're looking forward to hearing more on availability and cost after the launch at ICFF - we'll follow up then.

I love Jonathan Adler's products, but these are really only "timeless" in the way everything is cyclical. Even the worst 80s fashions made some kind of comeback.
Hmm, I really like those. I wonder how much they cost.
The sink is an awfully expensive and hard to replace area of the kitchen or bath with a rather long lifespan....I'd rather keep my statement pieces in the accents. Love the colors though - but not on a sink.
I have remodeled several bathrooms that previously had avocado green, brown, and pink fixtures in them. Now, I'm living with canary yellow sinks and bathtubs. When I think of colored ceramic, I think of the old rusty junk that I've removed from old places! I am desperate for plain white!
I agree with the above, but they are pretty killer, so if you can afford it I say go for it. What a great statement piece.
I hope these sinks actually work unlike so many of the newer sink/faucet combos in which the slope of the sink, placement of the drain, extension of the faucet, and other details all conspire in such a manner that there is no way you can avoid having to wipe down the sink after every single use.
Very nice. I hope this means that pedestal sinks are on the way out.
I want I want I want!!!! Sir Adler could produce a ceramic turd & i would want it!!!
I love most Jonathan Adler stuff but these are not doing it for me. Maybe if they are shown in the right display.
White fixtures might be considered dull but they are the only true classic. Anything else and the bathroom looks trapped in a time warp of the year it was installed.
I love those saturated colors, but I'm afraid the shape and depth of those smaller-versions-of-farm-sinks are not functional for use in a bathroom. Maybe they could be used as a secondary kitchen sink? Or in a mud room, craft room, utility room? They might be a good choice for an ADA compliant bathroom.
I, too pulled out colored sinks, bath and toilet when Immoved into my old home. But I am not opposed to color in bathroom fixtures. The things I tossed we're brown and tan. Can you imagine a dark brown (poo brown) toilet? It was just as bad as it sounds.
Though I think these look cool now I can't help but worry that they'd not be so appealing in a few years. Remember the mauve sinks and tubs everyone had and that most people hate now? I prefer to keep my pops of color to towels, shower curtains and other accessories. I'm not well off enough to spend big money on trendy things.
It's much more affordable to change your sinks than retile or even paint. These are amazing beautiful.
These are AWESOME!
Beautiful colors, but with a short half-life. There are more effective ways to get a pop of color in your bathroom that won't be expensive to change later.
I'm squealing
Love the colors.
Not a fan of the sink, but OMG that tilework on the wall is awesome. I never thought of using a 'wall frame' style detail in a bathroom. So cool. I may have to steal that...
I absolutely LOVE these! So glad modern designers like Jonathan Adler are giving us more options when it comes to color.
I'm tired of boring beige/off-white and plain Jane white. Enough already! There's an endless supply of bland sinks out there for everyone who wants one but for those of us who crave some fun color in our lives the choices are almost nonexistent. I suspect the prices will run high but hopefully they'll inspire other companies to use a little imagination in the products they produce. Consumers deserve more choices. Thanks for leading the way, Adler!
I wonder how they would wear...
Looking at all the comments about how dated it will look in a few years, I really wonder if that's actually the case. It seems to me that, when done like the pictured rooms - stark white everywhere with the pop of color - isn't that going to be classic? (In the same way you can tell when a Chanel bag was made, but you're never going to be ashamed to carry it!) Sure, maybe not to the next dweller's taste, but I don't think the wash-of-white-with-punch is ever going to bring up the same disgust that I have for the marbled-mauve tub, surround and sinks with brass fixtures from one rental, or the avocado green toilet, tub and sink I had in another.
But then again, I could well be wrong.
No way, I get tired of color too easily and want to change it up (sometimes seasonally), I keep the big pieces or the pay-to-install pieces neutral.
Love the colour of the turquoise but I'm afraid to ask how much this costs
I've loved turquoise for 50 years nonstop, and there's no reason to think anything will change. If I felt like having that sink, I wouldn't give a hoot about whether other people will think it looks dated.
I'm already getting tired of that supposedly timeless Greenwich Green -- but that's just me. If this is your favorite color, snap it up now, while you can, and live happily with it forever. THAT is what trends are for. People think trends dictate what a certain generation "should" like, but that's not it at all. The trend is merely the changing opportunity for everybody's taste to have a turn. In my uninformed and overly optimistic youth, if I had known that purple cotton turtleneck shirts were not always going to be available, I would have bought five or six of them in 1990, instead of just the one, which wore out long ago, and I'd be wearing them into my 90s.
I love copper, and fortunately there was lots of it around when I just redid my bathroom. But I was taking advantage of that trend, not responding slavishly to it.
Amen, brother Bee For!
Aqualime will always love these colors! But will Aqualime ever be able to afford them for her dream kitchen? Sigh.
These are beautiful but salvage yards at filled with colored sinks/tubs/etc that people have ripped out of their bathrooms, so the same look can be found for much less.
I'm in favor of anything that breaks some of the white monopoly.
Bee for Brian - There are purple cotton turtlenecks at Lands' End - on sale now for $12.99! =)
I think Jonathan Adler's design is timeless in a midcentury modern sort of way.
