One of my issues with this is that you could use this on anyone's computer, not just your children. How is this a good idea again?

Sketchy. When I have kids I'll just put the computer in a "public" space in the house. That way they'll think twice before clicking on the "hot donkey sex" banner.
heh heh...dongle. Anyhoo...so far, my Mac is safe! I'm sure they'll make a Mac version soon. It IS unsettling. However, less likely to entrap kids because they're too smart. They'd find the way to uninstall it or over-ride it. I actually imagine that kids might actually get one to keep track of their folks!
I agree with one eyed daruma, by the time adults get wind of this, most "kids" will have found a way around it. Still kinda creepy. And how do they advertise this? "Have you ever wondered if your kids are watching hardcore porn? Is your spouse into heavy bondage? Well now you can find out!"
and who wants to spy on your spouse anyway....
there should be some level of trust and if they're doing it, you'll find out.
