Looking for a new way to help your cat get some much needed R&R? This value-added cardboard box might be just the ticket for your frazzled feline, especially after the stress of a move to a new home. After all, who doesn't want to laze away a summer afternoon in a hammock?

The SnoozePal combines a fleece hammock that molds to your cat with a heavy-duty cardboard box container to create a unique sheltered hideaway. This cat hammock works for cats up to 20lbs and its smooth cardboard surface is supposed to deter scratching. It ships flat for assembly at home for only $34.95, though anyone who has moved recently might have boxes available to turn this into a DIY project.

AT really needs a Pet-Themed website...
I agree with bepsf that there needs to be a pet-themed AT website. $35? My cat would most likely ignore this and sleep on the box it came in.
This is cute, and surprisingly not that expensive! Could probably be a DIY project for super cheap too!
No.
Our cat prefers the dishwasher box kept in our basement with holes in it through which he can taunt our dog.
Haters gonna hate. I think it's adorable. :) But it does make me just want to make my own and save $35.
I agree, AT needs a pet-themed section!
This is cool but check out the Pet Hammock at www.yellowleafhammocks.com/pet-hammock!
Very cute. Since my two cats between them weigh, well, let's just say a little more than 20lbs, so they wouldn't be able to replicate the adorable second image. And check out Moderncat.net for cat-themed modern stylings (I am not affiliated). Maybe there's a dog version out there too?
I vote for make my own too. I thought if I made holes to pull each corner of fabric through, and put on a washer then knotted the fabric, that would replace the "button" that hold theirs on.
There is a modern design themed website for cats: www.moderncat.net.
I actually did get this for my cats. They never even tried to get in the hammock. they would crawl in underneath it or sleep on top...but never touch the hammock. But I guess it shouldn't surprise me since they would rather play with bottle caps and plastic bags than actual cat toys. The box is made with a very study card board...but after a while (if you have heavy cats) part of the top lid started to tear.
It would actually be a very easy to make this. when it arrives you actually have to put it together, so there would be pattern to cut from right there.
I just figure we will save it until we get a kitten...it can use it to hide from the others, since they already ignore the box.
I wish AT had a pet site.
I like it. Probably more than my cat would.
For DYI - If you want to make your own SnoozePal, you need a super sturdy box in order to hold the weight of your cat in the hammock.
The SnoozePal now has a reinforced top to support the weight of cats who want to perch above.
This product is made in the U.S., not China. We are proud to support our U.S. box manufacturer and the people who sew for us!
Thanks for the comments. Tammy, designer of the SnoozePal.
