New children's furniture company SOBU has got the corner on global origins. The company's founders Laleh and Allessandro (a couple with two children) have strong ties to Tehran, Rome, Sardinia, Germany, France and Brazil. But what we love about them most is their new Junk in the Trunk twin bed with storage.

The two started Sobu with the mission to create limited, exclusive furniture designs that are well-crafted and accessible. They produce products in small quantities and sell them only through their own site.

Their first offering is the Junk in the Trunk bed, which features a unique drawer that pulls out from the footboard of the bed. The bed's frame is upholstered in soft ivory fabric with modern orange piping. It's a perfect bed for small spaces or for kids who might need a place to store extra treasures.

Available for $650 at Sobu.
