I've found a new obsession. While I've long been an avid follower of blogs, e-mags and the like, I've found a new way to waste spend my time online. YouTube is the place to catch the latest funny cat video, rendition of Gangnam Style, et al, and YouTube channels have increasingly become a great venue for finding design inspiration.
This DIY is just the way I like them: simple, inexpensive and with great results. All you need is a four pack of your favorite bottled soda, a couple of cans of spray paint, a label and some flowers.

The starbucks glass bottles are also a nice shape for this kind of thing. I currently have 12 of them sitting on my counter with an assortment of lace, stickers, rubber bands, and puffy paint on them, waiting for a Chicago day warm enough to spray paint them on my back porch.
