Recently we've been thinking that we'd like to incorporate more pops of vibrant yellow into our space. So when we saw this cutie in the most recent CB2 catalog, we were enamored...
The shade is constructed of iron and needs to be hardwired installed in the ceiling. We think it would make a particularly bold statement to be the only burst of color in an otherwise neutral palette. And at $99 it's within reach. Check it out here.

ADORABLE! I think we had one like it over the kitchen table in the 70's. We had an awesome green/yellow kitchen with an awesome bright yellow wall phone and I have very fond memories of that room.
yeah, i saw this at one of our cb2 stores here in chicago. it doesn't disappoint. some of the cb2 stuff is chintzy, this isn't. i kinda want it too.
I wanted this for our breakfast booth SO BAD but there isn't the right wiring to hardwire it. Anyone know of a similar (plug-in) pendant?
I wanted this so bad for our breakfast nook/booth but there isn't wiring in there for a hardwired lamp. Anyone know of something similar in a (plug-in) pendant lamp?
I agree with eightdouble, this lamp looks fabulous in person. It's also much larger than I expected it to be!
faith- maybe an ikea pendant (the "melodi" doesn't have to be hardwired), spray painted bright yellow?
Oh, no! you have to hardwire it? nuts. I was going to buy it.
Faith, another option is to have a friend wire the lamp to be plug in. As this Yahoo answers states, you can buy kits at the hardware store to convert a lamp from hardwired to plug in.
