It might be five years old, but it's still beautiful and green. The '05 Cornell University Solar Decathlon home is a transportable, zero energy home that integrated indoor & outdoor living. Most impressive is the garden and grass seating area.

With just one bedroom and 800 square feet, the Solar Decathlon home does its best to make outdoor living a reality. With a full featured garden and lawn sofa/chair, the home clearly brings that vision home by way of the Nana Wall which opens the home to the outdoor space.

Other green features include a permeable driveway, rain water reuse, water conserving fixtures radiant floors, PV system, SIP insulation, and proprietary recovery ventilation system.
