Solar Stik: Somewhat Portable Small-Scale Energy Generation

While we definitely don't recommend using trying to lug this thing around just to power your laptop, those who own a trailer or want solar power without the added hassles of installing panels can check out the Solar Stik. It's a versatile system that's quick to set up, light enough to lug around, and even has optional add-ons to take advantage of wind energy - details and pricing after the jump.

We imagine this would be perfect in areas recovering from a natural disaster or for families who go camping often, but don't want to use a fossil-fuel generator for power (clean and green, right guys?). Since the system weighs in at about 80 lbs, it's light enough to carry around and deploy anywhere when needed. Power production-wise, its dual 50-watt solar panels are capable of producing about 80 Amps/hours per day.

Pricing? You're looking at $5,000 for your own mobile solar station.
