Sony's Tiny Home Theater

Sony's Tiny Home Theater

May 25, 2007

Smaller is better? It appears that Sony thinks so. This newly announced surround sound system consists of 5 satellites that Sony describes as the size of a golf ball (she must have small hands). At that size, hiding these in your space should not be too difficult.

Spec wise, this home theater in a box comes pretty nicely equipped. Featuring what Sony calls its Bravia Theater Sync technology, select Sony Bravia televisions can intelligently interface with these speakers to seamlessly switch inputs, and ensure that components are in sync. Additionally, the DVD/CD player features a touch sensitive front panel that illuminates and disappears as needed.

This system should be available in July for about $800.
