Today, Sony announced there would be some new kids on the block. No, not the lovable boy band. We're talking about some new HDTVs that will "embrace the future of television."

Though the design seems similar enough to their older models - with the exception of a shiny chrome finish - the specs seem up to par to be classified as being a newer technology. Available in 32", 40", 46" and 52" sizes, the new TVs all feature: 1080p resolution, Picture Frame Mode, a new BRAVIA Engine, a USB Photo Viewer, and great 178-degree viewing angles.

Sony's exact sizes, pricing, and availability has not been officially released yet. However, the release of updated models may be enough for people to jump on some of the older makes, since we've had no complaints with any of their HDTV's in the past.
