Sony's New Design Is Not A Laptop, Not A Desktop

Sony's new laptop-like desktop, the VAIO VGC-LJ25L, is something we found slightly odd in the design department because it forces you to sit literally less than a foot away from your monitor - something neither we nor your local ergonomics expert would suggest doing. It's okay, though, since it's a Korea-only release; otherwise, we'd be up in arms to protect our nation from bad ergonomic designs.

The specs look pretty good for what you get.

2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T8100 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 200GB hard drive, Intel X3100 on-board graphics, 15.4" 1280 x 800 LCD display, "Sound Reality" audio chip with Direct Sound 3D support, Foldable keyboard

Available for about $1,385 in Korea only.
