This sexy little number from Sony sadly doesn't follow suit of a lot of other newer Sony products: it is ATRAC, AAC and WMA compatible over its wireless or ethernet from a Windows PC, but it's output port is only compatible with a handful of Bravia systems on the market.
Too bad, because we could see it being strong competition for the Roku Soundbridge. If you're lucky enough to have a Bravia system, even at $200 this could be worth a look.

I find Sony really vexing as a company. On one hand, they have some of the best industrial design in the home entertainment/computer industry outside of Apple. I've owned several Sony PDAs, phones and laptops and I've loved them all. I'd take my current 3-year old TR1A notebook running Ubuntu over any recent Apple laptop.
On the other, they are at the complete at the mercy of their content arm (DRM/proprietary-centric devices) their hardware suffers from serious "not invented here" syndrome (ATRAC, memory sticks, 4-pin Firewire, etc to the exclusion of other technologies), their custom software and drivers suck and their support is practically non-existant.
