(Welcome again to Katie who is trying out for a spot on Ohdeedoh's editorial team.
Comments are welcome.)

After a long winter, we definitely have beach vacations on the brain. A glance around the design world makes us think we aren't the only ones. We love how these accessories incorporate that calm, undersea vibe into the nursery without being too themey bright or cartoon spongey.

1 Seahorse lamp from Jonathan Adler ($295). Jonathan Adler's "nod to the nautical". We can't wait to see more of his new kids' decor line!

2 Marine modern mobile - calm ocean colours from Puka Puka ($134). Australian designer Nina Still's mobiles are somehow soothing and stimulating at the same time. Available in so many gorgeous colors, we love this one in the calm ocean palette.

3 Undersea #1 Art Print from BoyGirlParty($20). Artist Susie Ghahremani is obviously feeling the underwater vibe, too

4 Sea Crown Doorknob from Anthropologie ($42). Have you ever had a doorknob on your decorating wish list? You might after you see this one from Anthropologie.

5 Ferm Living Medium Knitted Pouf in Aqua at Velocity Art and Design ($141.95). We could see this cotton knitted urchin as a comfy footrest to use while feeding the baby or a cushion for little ones to pull themselves up on later. Either way, what a textural statement it makes!
