- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I live in a quaint historic town that has brownstone homes and narrow brick roads. I love that my apartment is in an old 19th century building and has tons of character.
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The biggest challenge of living in a small space and being somewhat of an antique hoarder is finding space for all my treasures! I make this small space work by using floor and wall space creatively. I have things hanging from every wall in my place!

oooh awesome. I like it!
Is this in German Village?
I'm just curious, the sofa is in front of a door that now can't be opened. Where does it lead to? Your place is very sweet and homey, got my vote!
Love your white sofa, it kills me because it's what I'm looking for. Beautiful Queen Anne furniture combined with exposed loft/industrial-like brick walls that gives great contrasts of characters.
Where does the door in the bathroom lead to? Outside? Not sure if I find that odd or practical.... :-)
I'm curious about the bathroom door as well. Plus I notice the toilet is on a weird angle.
Nice place though :)
I love all the color in the bedroom. But that toilet placement is whack.
Old houses are so odd and quirky, I guess that's what makes them so interesting. Your bathroom is nearly as large as your bedroom! Would like to have seen a photo of your long, narrow kitchen. Do you have a blog with more photos?
I really like this one overall, but I especially love the rug in the bedroom.
Weirdest placement of a toilet ever.
Columbus represent!
I'm kind of confuse about where all those doors lead... it's like a fun house.
This couldn't be farther from my personal style, but I absolutely love what she did with her place! It reminds me of lofts around New Orleans (and that's a good thing).
Don't care for the antlers on the wall. Just a personal thing with me. I do like the space though. I too am curious about all those fun doors. Humm..where does door #2 lead to? :o)
Really love the headboard!!
Now THAT is a headboard!
I love the dining and living areas. The rug and chairs are beautiful. I'm not wild about the bedroom.
LOVE the mix of patterns. GO COLUMBUS!
Love everything, even using the antlers as a necklace holder!! Headboard in bedroom is great, too:)
how ironic...
Where did you get the rug under the white couch? I love the purple and blue colors!
Love the bedroom! I am on the lookout for antlers to hang my jewelry on, and that rug is rad!
Soooo cool Sophia
Here are a few answers to your questions
One of the doors in the living room holds the water heater and the other two connect a little walk in closet (the only storage space). The door in the bathroom leads to the fire escape. The rug under my couch is vintage, I got it from a family member. Thanks everyone!!!
Sophia it looks lovely:). Good luck!
Beautiful decorating job!
wonderful use of textiles (including rugs) to give your home your own personal stamp- nice job!
Really love this!
I made the headboard :) It was pretty easy and I actually followed a tutorial from apartment therapy on how to upholster headboards!! The hardest part is deciding on the fabric, I got mine from a designer fabric retailer online. Best of luck!
Such a cute apartment....looks so fresh !
Got my vote!
Beautiful
Sophia, I love it. It's my style all the way.
