A dedicated playroom is a thing of envy for many. At the same time it can become a design curse. Nobody wants Romper Room in their own home.
That's why I'm a fan of keeping the backdrop of the playroom within the same palette as the rest of the house. This lovely playroom we saw on Mabley Handler Interiors is a perfect example. The light walls and beadboard and dark wood floors keep things looking fresh. And as the kids get older, toys will be switched out and the floor plan might change but the walls and floors can stay the same. You can see a few more pictures of this home as well as lots of inspiring photos at Mabley Handler Interiors.

I've seen these geometrical prints quite a bit. They're lovely. Can anyone tell me where to get them...for cheap!
Great room by the way!!!
Cute room!
Fuzzywuzzy - they aren't cheap! They're $70/each or $369 for all 6 from Crate & Barrel. http://www.crateandbarrel.com/decorating-and-accessories/art/classical-symmetry-print-set-of-six/f31739
Target and The Paper Store have geometric wrapping paper, just frame it!
Anyone know where the bean bags are from? Or possibly a DIY tutorial for something similar?
I bought and framed these: http://www.target.com/p/Bright-Patterns-Tile-Wall-Decals-9-pc-Set/-/A-12288624
It still wasn't cheap after buying all the frames but in total it was about $125 for 9 framed prints instead of 6. They look great above my fireplace and they are far enough away that no one can tell they are cheap vinyl decals under the glass.
Are you kidding me???? I would LOVE to have an extra room this size just for a play room!! That way toys arnt cluttering the rest of the house.
