At first when I looked at this photo, I thought the Bertoia chairs were kid-sized. On second glance, I think they're adult-sized but this dining area is still an inspirational space for families. It's an example of a small house with a small dining area that needs to work for everyone in the family.
To re-create this breakfast nook and make it child-friendly, find a table that is a perfect size and height for adults to enjoy coffee and little ones to gather for snack and projects. A comfortable banquet serves as seating for the grown-ups while children's chairs make the space kid-friendly. To see photos of the rest of this narrow row house, check out Style At Home.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Anyone know a source for that couch?
Anyone know where that rug is from? I think I need it (or something very similar).
My two-year-old would get peanut butter all over that couch.
Lovely. My 12 month old would ruin every single thing in that picture but maybe someday . . . I can dream.
I think the Rug is a Madeline Weinrib....sold by ABC Home and a few lucky retailers.
oh, i ♥ this...but forget my kid...i'd have food over everything myself...ha!
