Q: I am dying over the black and white art above Amy Butler's buffet that was featured in her recent House Tour. Does anyone know how I can find out the source for those and/or something similar?

Make your own! They're basic rorschach-style ink blots. Think back to kindergarten: you put dots of ink on one side of the page then fold the two sides together like a hot dog. Unfold and see what comes out. It makes a vertically symmetrical abstract piece. I love the idea of using them in decor though!
They look a lot like Wendy Smalls photograms: http://www.wendysmall.net/photograms/index.php?showimage=25
I could create something inspired by it. www.imuriproject.com
Just looked thru the tour again and her house is so amazing. Love the open beam, floor to ceiling windows and the front doors, drool... The outdoor space and view is also fantastic and her kitchen. A wee bit jealous I am.
Yea, that woul take five minutes to make. Get some black acrilic paint, some large paper, or a thing plastic tarp, what ever, and some canases. Make the rorschach onto the paper/sheet and then sandwhich it against the canvas. Peal away sheet/paper, let it dry, then hang. You could cover it all in a clear coat of protective spray paint when you done, if you want. Cheers.
They could also be Bjorn Wiinblad prints. Jonathan Adler is a big fan of the mid-century Danish artist and graphic designer. I can't immediately find any reference images, but have seen similar prints in the past.
Those look like the art made from her own textiles.

I made my own Rohrschach images before. A tip: dillute the paint with some water if you want to add more variety/texture to the blots. Very easy project!
Andy Warhol's Rorschach paintings, maybe?
Hi everyone, I work for Amy & David and I have the info about the art for you!
The prints are vintage Bjorn Wiinblad that were purchased on Ebay. This is the same artist who did the blue artwork in their kitchen.
Here is some info about him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bjørn_Wiinblad
I hope this helps!
Knew those weren't ink blots!
