Q: We have been without a coffee table (or any other tables for that matter) in our living room since we moved in 2 1/2 years ago. I think I have finally found something I love, in the HGTV Green Home. It's a pair of basket weave stools and I cannot find them anywhere! Any ideas?

Have you tried sending an email to the HGTV Green Home site to ask for a source? Or you might ask for a contact for the decorator involved.
If you find out, post it here, because I love them too!
Those are the Dewitt ottomans from HW Home.
Yikes! $895 each? Pretty, but I'll pass.
Check out this website http://woodandfaulk.com/
it gives instructions on how to make your own if you're handy, or maybe get someone to make them? Pretty simple DIY and certainly cheaper than the above :-)
I'm with @fatdog, DIY it. The weave is easy, only the detail on the legs looks tricky!
I don't know how DIY-interested you are, but you could make some that are the right size and material that you want.
Here's a tutorial on Design Sponge for something similar:

I agree with everyone who highly spoke about DIY leather stool via http://woodandfaulk.com/.
Not only that it is easy to make but you are free to do it with any wood, any leather, faux leather, webbing ones (like they use for car seat belt), even size.
I plan to make one of my own, even thought of redesigning it as double-seat stool.
My wife and I bought our house over 2 years ago and it is cool to own custom furniture.
$900 for each? Yike! Just my luck.
I am not so handy, so I don't see myself making one. Perhaps I will wait for someone to knock it off at a lower price. At this point, what's a couple more years without tables? :)
Many places in Mexico sell them.
If you would be interested in canvas webbing instead of leather, try searching for shaker-style craftsmen--they make chairs with similar woven seats, and might be able to do footstools. Since their products are handmade, they're not cheap--but neither are they nearly as expensive as the prices quoted above. There also is potential for customization.
