The fabric looks to me like a traditional Japanese Sashiko pattern; I think the pattern name is Asanoha. Here's one example of it:

I almost chosed Romo's Asanoha patterned wallpaper for my hall, it's beautiful! The pattern comes as fabric also, but unfortunately it's not the exact fabric in your picture.

i know she made most all of the pillows. she mentioned on design star that she would rather make a pillow than buy, because they can be so expensive.

I had similar difficulty when trying to find blue patterned upholstery fabric and material for matching pillows on a budget. I ended up finding a fabric that I liked (and could afford) in the form of a shower curtain. It's kind of like the pillows in this blog post:
