Q: Hi! I've been trying to find this gorgeous duvet featured in the latest FLOR catalog. I've contacted FLOR, but they said they shoot at "real" homes and wasn't able to find out where the duvet was from (they were quite nice and did try!). I've searched online everywhere... I was hoping I could ask the AT audience if they have an idea. Please help. I've been obsessed with the plum-grey palette all season.

Not an exact match.... but Brocade Home has some lace print duvets: https://www.brocadehome.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1014_103031&sort=20a&page=-1&zenid=e19qeug9qh15rtldoonjefkcp4
Is this it? Looks verrry similar!
"Amy Butler Constanta Comforter Set"

I don't know but now I am in love with it too! And the side table... drool...
i don't think the Amy Butler is the same one, but i love it!
Looks a lot like the Anthropolie Chatelaine duvet. I think it's discontinued now, but I'm sure you could find it on eBay. I bought it, returned it ... and REGRET it! Love it. You can see a picture of it here:

I have a solid grey Ikea duvet that is the exact same color... if that helps at all.

I this this link is the same one... it is definitely a more violet grey hue.
I don't think it is the Amy Butler set, but I just picked up the Amy Butler sheets at Homegoods for a great price! If you have one locally -- check it out!
http://www.blisslivinghome.com/harmony-p-1408.html Bliss living has this one, also similar.
It looks like an actual jacquard, not a print. It is a modern riff on a traditional damask. Did a quic search -- to me it looked a little like what SDH might come up with, but it's not -- they don't do a charcoal grey. Still worth checking them out.

The closest I can come up with is a charcoal jacquard from Matteo Home... not the same pattern at all, but the colour and feel of the fabric are similar...

Good luck in your search! (and let us know if you ever find it!)
Sorry to go off topic, but I absolutely LOVE this room.... So cozy and snuggly... I am thrilled to see a dark space featured.
The duvet is fantastic, I wouldn't have a clue where to find it. Looking at the other things in the room, I think the Flor is the least expensive thing there. That duvet is surely pricey.
Well, as the Investigator in me spent the last several hours searching for that print/duvet - without success - It dawned on me that it can be very easily made. Duvets are the easiest home DYI project if you (or a friend) have even a minimal sewing skill.... that's the route I would go. It would be substantially less expensive I'm sure, plus it becomes distinctively yours.
ps: absolutely LOVE that room... all of it ;-)
Overstock.com has great paisley duvets, I just bought a olive green/gold one that I ADORE!
Many thanks for all of your ideas and direction. I do hope if you happen across it, you'll let me know --- and I'll do the same! I've even taken the route of looking for fabric to have it made, but no such luck... yet.
Cheers!
Forgot to mention that I really like the Anthropologie recommendation... and no... ebay doesn't have it (at the moment!)
Again, many thanks for looking!

So funny. I saw this and I happen to know the whose house this is and I used to have the same duvet in a different color! It came from Bedside Manor in Chicago on Halsted Street. I believe it was made in Italy and comes in several different colors. Good luck!
this is not an exact match, but dwell has something similar, if you like the animal motif!

Sorry no source for the duvet, but IMO FLOR has some of the BEST styling around.
Good luck finding the duvet!
I did a quick google based on the comment about the store on halsted; i looked up their yelp listing and checked out the photos. there were some similar prints in a pillow by Ann Gish; It looks like it's fairly likely it was hers, you might check ebay for older models floating around.
Also, this is nice: http://www.shopbedside.com/for-the-bedroom/duvets/new-leaf-duvet.html
And that's the store's website.
also this one is nice, but different: http://www.snuggledown.com/s/catalog/natural_environmentally_friendly_linens/schlossberg_lison/
I've been following all of your leads so far! Many thanks! Love the Dwell Studio pattern - plus it is on sale (I never have such luck!).
Dear "hedr" - any chance you can peek at your duvet to see if there is a pattern name or manufacturer? (or ask your friend ;) .
Cheers!

Hello All! I work for Ann Gish and unfortunately this is not our duvet (although somewhat similar to our Noir...which is a smaller damask).
I used to be a buyer and I believe this is Leitner's (a division of SDH) Istanbul Duvet in color Anthrazit. If not...it is a very close match.
Hope this helps!!!
Thank you! I did check the Leitner website and believe you may be correct!!
There is a PDF on the website that shows all the fabric and color options: http://www.leitnerleinen.com/images/Colorcard.pdf
They're gorgeous! (but now, I can't figure out where to purchase it --- seems the retail locator feature doesn't work.) Many thanks!!
Hopefully you have been able to find a retail store that sells the Leitner fabric you are looking for. It does look like a Leitner pattern called Istanbul in color Anthrazit. We at SDH are the exclusive US Distributors for this brand. You can find a retail store in you area by going to www.sdhonline.com. Hope this helps.
