Q: I'm hoping to get some help from the Apartment Therapy community. I watched The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest on Friday, and there were two pieces of art used in the set decor. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to find the artists responsible, and I LOVE both of them. I was hoping someone here might recognize the artist or style and be able to point me in the right direction. I have attached two screencaps from the movie.

Sadly I don't have the info you are looking for, but those movies are all great!
You may have better luck asking the reader's from Emma's design blog due to it's focus on Swedish design.
OMG, i watched this movie last friday too and I really really loved the paint colors they used.
That muted white/light gray or bone color of paint..i loved it. i wonder what color that is and how can i get it???
My mother was a set designer for years in the film industry, and I know that designers will often create their own art for a scene (I was once given the task of creating "child-like" paintings for a psychologist's office). If you are having that much difficulty figuring out who the artist is for these works, they may have been specially done by someone in the crew.
I second Taralyn, I work in the film industry and anything featured prominently has to be cleared - likely these were done by the art department, or belong to a catalogue of works cleared for use by the production company. I suggest contacting them if you are really committed - Nordisk Film.
EW someone has been posting ads for online shops. Can the AT moderator delete these?
At first glance, they look vaguely reminiscent of William Blake's paintings.
Thank you, everyone, for the comments!
@felttipjr: I read that blog on a daily basis, but hadn't though of that. Thank you!
@Taralyn and karlyincanada: I hope you're wrong :) I'd love to get my hands on a print. I emailed Nordisk - we'll see if I get a response.
