Q: I fell in love with this chandelier when house shopping and would love to find a similar one for my entryway. I'm not having any luck in finding a similar style and am hoping the Apartment Therapy readers can help.

That seriously reminds me of a large "bowl" made of shell that I think probably originated at Pier One or Home Goods or Target a few years ago -- got mine at a flea market. with an existing ceiling fixture and some chain or wire, you could easily have a similar look. (Mine is about six inches deep, maybe, and about 18 inches across.)
Not sure how to search for it, but I'm sure there are lots of them out there someplace!
Good luck.
it looks like it's called Serena Bowl Chandelier by Oly
Did the sellers not know the source? I would have bought that home just for the entryway. Lucky you, looking at such nice places.
I think that is craftsman-style swirl glass and not shell, Sherry. I've seen things like that come out of Mexico.
I agree, more than likely it is the Serena Bowl Chandelier from Oly, you can look on OlyStudio.com or ShopCandelabra.com
And now I need that for my dining room...
Haha! I was just looking at an old issue of Better Homes and Gardens last night and saw the exact same fixture. I also feel in love and was stumped on where to get it. Sorry I can't offer more info, but thanks for posting the question!
These may be less rounded, but overall they are similar.

It's beautiful (too bad it's $3k)!
I found a picture of the bowl I have. (I know what I'm talking about isn't the same, @Rural and Rueful, I was suggesting a way to get the approximate look if the original can't be found/afforded.)

"My" bowl is about half way down the page hanging on the wall over a black desk. (It could work!)
I'm sure I've seen that exact chandelier at a bunch of flash sales. At least 3 of the ones below, for sure.

OMG, Limesoda! Those Lightopia chandeliers cost more $ than I even make in two months! You've got my number though, Sherrybinnh. I was really hoping this article was a DIY! Where there's a will...
This is very similar, and to my eye, a little more interesting. I like the variation in size with this one. http://www.varaluz.com/view-collection/item/165P03HO
Log on to Houzz.com and search for "chandelier" under products. Many, many.
I am always in awe of the people that can ID things when people ask these questions. And within an hour and a half of the post going up! Kudos.
