Q: Hey! I've seen this picture all over, but have never been able to find the source for these beautiful cornflower blue pendant lamps. Does anyone know where I can find pendant lamps in this shade?

Ercol Bar Stool
if you're not adverse to DIY, why not get Ikea Foto in an appropriate size and spray paint it the colour you'd like to have???
Try Barn Light Electric http://www.barnlightelectric.com/pendant-lighting/ if they don't have the exact colour you were looking for, buy a light you like the shape of and head to an automotive paint store. They will make you a custom spray can of any paint color you want.

EBAY BUT COSTLY. If the link does work, type in BARN pendant LIGHTING.
Good luck.
I second the IKEA Foto DIY suggestion.

Barnlight electric also carries some blue pendant lights:

Maybe try a local lighting store? Either they have something similar or maybe they can order something for you.
The setting looks very British with the wallpaper and the egg cups. I poked around even in UK websites to no avail. You could probably find look a likes pretty cheaply and have them custom painted. That's what they look like to me...chrome and custom painted with the insides being so shiny.
Sorry not to be of much help but thanks for the excuse to shop! :P
Um...so easy to purchase those lamps cheap and spray paint them. Somebody probably did which is why you can't find them on the internet for sale.
Hey guys, it's Charlotte here. Thanks for your replies! To answer some questions that have been posted:
@rouquinne and @Portlandrules -- I've thought of spray-painting, but I'm worried that since the metal pendants will get hot from the light bulb, the spray paint would constantly off-gas and the kitchen (which is where I want to put these) will continually smell like paint.
If anyone out there in AT land has spray-painted light fixtures before, can you tell me if my assumption is true?
@Kristen S -- Thanks! That's a good idea. I live pretty far out in the sticks, so there are no auto paint stores near me, but if there are no other options I'll definitely drive a couple of hours for pretty lighting.
@tarainsevenvalleys -- You're close! The original was posted on a Norwegian blog. Since I don't speak Norwegian I haven't been able to ask if they know the source of the lamps. Here's a link to the original: http://norskeinteriorblogger.blogspot.com/2012/04/paskedrops_05.html
@A.Lewellen -- Cheers, mate. You wouldn't believe how much time I've spent looking for shades this particular color. I thought that instead of continuing to waste more time on fruitless searching (because the Google is obviously NOT with me on this one) I'd ask people who would be likely to come up with kind, constructive, useful suggestions. :)
Either my comment got deleted or didn't go through so let's try this again.
I agree with @rouquinne - the IKEA Foto lamp is cost effective and all you'd need is a coat of spray paint. This is the lamp:

BarnLight Electric makes a similar one as well:

Hope that helps!
Charlotte- They have spray paint specifically meant for hot temperatures. You can try any Auto Store or Home Improvement Store.
RustOleum makes high temperature spray paint in a few blue shades. They are meant for car engines and hot temperatures.

Ha, Charlotte! ;) I knew it wasn't American for sure with all those egg cups! I have Google Chrome that translates automatically but I couldn't make out how to contact them without having a blog, which I don't. And they didn't mention the lamps in the post.
I don't know if you left a comment in that post if they would see it or not since it's from April? You could go to Google Translate and formulate a question if you have a blog to sign in with. Good luck!
The heat resistant paint is a good idea or if you could get a car body shop to do it for you. I saw Martha Stewart have metal stools done with the powder coating they use. Nice thick even paint job and definitely would be heat resistant.
I did a quick Google image search for "blue metal pendant light" and found this one, a nice blue one though not the same: http://www.archiexpo.com/prod/eleanor-home/traditional-pendant-lamps-aluminium-79540-648242.html
Charlotte, the lights won't heat up if you use CFL bulbs, which are now available in warm lighting shades and will save you money on bills too.
Hi there... you log in to her blog anonymously through this link: Abonner på: Legg inn kommentarer (Atom) - try contacting her in English - she can probably help... you can start by saying you don't speak Norwegian... Google translate puts that as this:
Jeg beklager, men jeg snakker ikke norsk.
Just log in, and ask where she got them.
