West Elm has something similar in ivory leather: http://www.westelm.com/products/leather-grid-tufted-headboard-g025/?pkey=cheadboards-bed-frames
Just found Nate Berkus' tufted headboards. Many colors to choose from - professionally made and affordable: http://home-decor.hsn.com/nate-berkus-tufted-headboard_p-4536474_xp.aspx?sf=hd&attr=5936&prev=hp&cm_re=Modular_Right*element_C_link*NateBerkus_Furniture&ccm=hd|5936
Urban Outfitters has something similar in velvet as well:

It looks like it has a diamond repeat tufting where most just have straight rows of tufts, I bet this is custom see how it lines up exactly with the bottom of the lamp shade that is not accidental.
An upholstery shop could make this for you and you can select your own fabric looks like a pearly white or very pale ice silver faux leather.
Charles Rogers has a white leather tufted headboard but not as special as this one.

pier 1 has a tufted headboard.
Skyline Furniture makes many upholstered headboards that are extremely affordable to boot. Check out this one, sold by CSN Stores (a fav of mine) that is nearly identical to the one in the photo: http://www.csnstores.com/Skyline-Furniture-740-Parchment-SKY1063.html
They have many others as well.
Here's another look alike by Skyline that is even more like the one you like (without the slight arch).

I can't guess where the one in the photo is from. There are so many beautiful tufted headboards around, and so many great "look for less" options. Can't wait to find out!

This is mine, very similar to picture you provided. I got mine through a dealer through CL. It has amazing storage underneath which is priceless for someone living in NY.

overstock.com has some pretty tufted headboards.
Try this one from Home Decorators:http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Tufted_Custom_Headboard/118/
It's only $479 for a Queen + $70 Shipping and comes in lots of different fabric color/pattern options. If you call them, they'll send you a sample for free.
I think the best (i.e. affordable!) source is JC Penney. You can go online and order one just like it in a number of fabrics. It's one of their custom upholstered pieces- for the fraction of what one might cost from a higher end retailer. I have one with a curved top in a cream raw "silk", and I love it!
if youre crafty, you can make it yourself. go youtube and search for "tuft", it's really essentially just pushing a pin through a board, securing a 'button' (or something) and then tugging it back to tight it. I AM COMPLETELY OUT OF POINT, i know.. sorry.. you asked for sources and i replied "DIY", but just thought i would - SORRY (!!!) if i changed the direction of your post!
