I did a whole wall with these once; got them at Home Depot. It was soooo cheap!! :)

Retry Elfa - go to components - they do sell the brackets and shelves separately. I have bought them.

Home depot. No problem. Even a good hardware store might have them.

Your local hardware store will have all the parts you need.

Toronto area? You can also try Canadian Tire if that's easier for you than Home Depot. They have them listed on their website.

You can try this link for the Ikea Antonius Collection. It is closet storage systems and includes shelves on a track like that. Our closet is do in it, and we love it!

The U.S.-based Container Store sells Elfa -- not just sets, but individual components, as cliokitty say. (Really, because all of the Elfa shelving is cuttable, they sell everything by the individual components; the sets are designed for people who don't want to bother with exact measuring of their spaces and for people who can't envision what they want, a leaping-off point. But once you go into a store, you are actually buying components that make up whatever design that was pictured on the website for inspiration.)

AND: The Container Store ships to Canada! But it could end up being costly once the shipping costs are tallied.

What are Canada's equivalents of Home Depot and Lowe's big-box hardware stores? The type of shelves, with metal brackets, are so common that any hardware store should stock the stuff. The vertical metal pieces that the shelf brackets stick into are called "standards," so maybe if you ask for those, if you haven't already, stores will know exactly what you want.

Go with the Ikea Antonius, as jessman85m recommended. That product line is incredibly functional, totally customizable, and affordable.

we purchased ours from home depot, but I've also seen them at smaller hardware stores. you might also consider checking out rebuilding/recycled building supply stores too. i've seen a bunch stashed in a corner at one of our local up-cycle stores. good luck!
