Sources for Small-Scale Youth Beds

Good Questions

Q: Getting ready to switch my toddler to a bed. She will ultimately share her tiny room and a twin would take up half the space. I don't want to get a toddler bed, because she is almost as long as her crib but I have found mattresses for "youth beds" which measure 33 x 66 and thought this would be a good fix for the next few years. I can't find any beds that size. Do they exist? (Preferably one with drawers underneath, since I will need to get rid of the dresser to fit the crib.) Has anyone gone for this size bed? Was it a success? And where did you get the mattress? Any help greatly appreciated as we try to squeeze two kids into a small little space.

Editor:Ikea's Kritter bed is close in size to the mattress you mention - can anyone recommend other sources for smaller-scale youth beds (especially with underbed storage)?
