While we're not hosting a party to celebrate the end of the fall cure this weekend (our own party is in two weeks), we'll be attending a few parties. Two of the great things about parties, having cured our home?...
The first is coming home after a long night out at a party at someone else's home and entering our own warm, cozy space with a bed that is ready to fall into, knowing that when we wake up late and maybe a little worse for wear, we've got the makings of breakfast here, a clean bathroom where we can take a long soak in the tub, and a living room where we can curl up on the couch and recover.
The other's knowing that our own home's party ready to welcome visitors (and to be photographed for this magazine) and that we can spend the next two weeks enjoying the holiday season, worrying only about the menu and how we're going to decorate.
Oh, one other great thing about parties, now that we've cured our home? Easy clean up because everything has its place (this is an especially good thing because now that we've cured our home, people come more often and stay later).
What's been the best thing for you about doing the cure? Are you happy with your progress? Has it changed your relationship with your home? How are you planning to celebrate?
