We'd trade our lower kitchen cupboards for drawers in a flash. And oh, to have these Space Corner drawers. What bliss. (In fact, we can see these working in bathrooms and home offices, too.)

I understand the appeal, but at the same time, they're kind of harsh and dangerous looking. Bad feng shui, for sure.

And I am supposing there are two wasted triangles of space on either side of those drawers?

Still a waste of nearly 12 cubic feet of space - now made more expensive.

Better to have the cabinets on the corner, and a dolly. Drawers to the side.

True comments above -- still, I like the inventiveness of this.
Although one problem is if the corner drawer is not quite fully closed and you open one of the big drawers to either side, you could chip an edge off the drawer front finish.

these have a bad feng shui feeling, i totally agree...i like the magic corner pullouts by rev a shelf.

still wasting space and a brutal design for the kitchen.

I don't mean to be an incessant critic, but one other problem with this design is that unknowing people will pull the drawer handles straight out rather than at 45 degrees.

Over time, this will put much wear on the drawer glides, causing them to eventually loosen and fail.

It's a nice, but already known from Blum, solution for the corners, it's just an alternative to the carrousels and baskets/shelves pullouts for those kind of spaces or for people who just want drawers allover the kitchen.

But the price tag must be a little, very little, bit higher if compared to the more used solutions like Lazy Susan and alike.

lightspeed - great point. I hadn't thought of that.

Usability-wise, lightspeed is right. This is inventive but not user-friendly. Plus, think of the sacrifice you are making - you have to deal with TWO unsable corners flanking that drawer now.

Ouch. I actually think it's cool-looking (aside from the scary feng shui potential), but can you imagine walking into that? My shins hurt just thinking about it.

I really like it and am fairly skeptical about feng shui anyway so that's immaterial to me.

THis is not a product made by Heritage. THey are simply Blum drawer slides (the same brand used by Poggenpohl, IKEA, henrybuilt, etc). Blum's invention, though I've seen a number of cabinetmakers claim it as unique to their own lines. Point being: you could convert your own corner cab to the same thing by buying the corner slides from a BLum distributor. I bet they're a bitch to install though.

I love this! Does anyone else have problems with stuff falling off their lazy susan and eventually having piles of junk in the corners? I'd opt for this, gladly.
