If you have a bedroom that is short on space but not on style, then a wall-mounted table might be the best solution to add a little storage by the bed without occupying any valuable floor space. Though these compact options have no space for a lamp, they do work perfectly for those with wall-mounted sconces or overhead lighting.
Both of these compact offerings combine form and fuction to create extra storage for a small space. Both would also make a great landing strip in a small hall or entryway.
The Nite Bedside Table is made of white plexiglass and its double triangle shape allows for two levels of bedside storage to hold an alarm clock, glass of water, reading material and more. ($283 from Scandanavian Design Center)
The Kubo Shelf is made of white lacquered metal and its cutout rectangular shape helps create visually interesting storage for books or magazines as well as a small space to hold other nighttime needs. ($139 from Scandanavian Design Center)

$283?
Are you joking?
Definitely out of my budget, but I think that AT posts things like this for us to gain inspiration from. Maybe we can find a similar one that is more affordable. Or better yet, maybe we can figure out how to make one on our own.
These are some great possibilities for very small spaces! Another option is to simply get a piece of plywood cut down to the size you would like and add 2 brackets underneath... paint... and wahlah! Your own, super cheap, DIY nightstand!
Cute ideas, but too expensive! This could perhaps be DIY inspiration for some folks out there.
Yeah, cute but insane price tag!
That Kubo Shelf will be perfect as a narrow landing strip for the entry way.
also known as . . . shelves.
