Whether you already have a workspace place filled with nice furniture and tech accessories or you're looking to add some modern flair into your home office, speakers are always a good way to add functionality and decoration to a workspace. Here are a couple of our favorites that are also eco-friendly.

OrigAudio Fold and Play Recycled Speakers ($14.99): Awesome things can be made from recycled materials, and OrigAudio's Fold and Play speakers are proof of that. You can get a set of two, all speakers are compatible with external devices from CD players to laptops to MP3 players and don't require batteries or external power sources. The speakers come in different whimsical illustrations, or you can customize and create your own.

Cardboard Radio from SUCK UK on Vimeo.

Cardboard Radio ($39): Another speaker system made from recycled materials SUCK UK's Cardboard Radio. It is made with a simple card structure and can be recycled when the life of the product comes to an end. It works better with an external device plugged in than as an actual radio.

Vers 1.5 R iPod Player ($209): Those with an iPhone or iPod will find the Vers player an ideal and multifunctional sound system. It's compact so it could work in any room, from the kitchen to the den to your home office space. Each system is crafted individually so no two speakers are alike. They come in beautiful wood finishes like bamboo, cherry or walnut.

Eton Soulra ($185): If you own a Soulra speaker, it doesn't matter if you have power because the system is solar-powered. Cool, right? It's an ideal companion to take on your travels or trips to the beach because it's powered by the sun and has a splash proof body. It works with any handheld Apple devices and comes with a remote control.

Glow Audio Voice One Speakers ($348): You don't have to get a huge set of speakers for excellent sound quality. Glow Audio's compact Voice One speakers pack a lot of punch for a small system. It is made of recycled scrap wood. The outer surface is smooth but the interior has a faceted surface that breaks up standing waves.
