So we took pause at this lightbulb infused with a wifi speaker. Is this the wave of the future? Something we're bound to see everywhere in the next coming years? Or a far-fetched idea from an overly ambitious designer?

Spotted at Yanko Design, this bulb manages to include a speaker for fulfilling all of your lighting and soundsystem fantasies.

It definitely has some real-world uses. In public places like bars and restaurants where wireless speakers and attractive lighting solutions are already being put into play, the SoundBulb can put them together in a space-saving, efficient and sophisticated way.

Designers Hoang M Nguyen, Poom Puttorngul and Anh Nguyen designed the SoundBulb's parts to be replaceable and able to be upgraded occassionally.
