Want vintage? But don't want to give up your iPod dock? The Specktone Retro iPod Dock gives you a vintage-inspired piece with a modern accessory.
A laquered wood cabinet holds a 4" subwoofer and 28 watt output speaker. An iPod can rest on top and is controlled through the simple single volume knob. The speaker comes in a retro green as pictured, but also a more subdued white or black.
While this is definitely a single-use device, it could appeal to your inner lounge lizard. And at $99 it's priced in the range of most similar products.

Well, it does have an aux input, unlike the Bose Soundock for example, which makes it only slightly better than a one-use device.
It should be noted that it's got analog circuitry, so it's got those warm sounds.
I own it and love it.
For anyone who wants to have a little fun with this, there's a hack in this month's Ready Made to turn a vintage radio into an iPod sound dock.
We bought this about six months ago and have been very happy with the sound quality.
