Bill Blass once said, "When in doubt wear red" and with good reason. Nothing livens up an area more so than a vibrant pop of red. An red accent in a room can work wonders, especially for renters who many times may not be able to paint their white walls. Here are a few of our recent red finds, that will turn up the volume in your child's room...
• Thomas Paul Gold Finch Red Pendant Lamp, $363.
• Ekorre Rocking moose, $39.99.
• Red Amac Boxes, $, $0.39 - $3.19.
• notNeutral Wood Blocks Set, $30.
• Metro Red Clock, £39.10.

I've been surprised by how much I love a pop of red as an accent color in my son's nursery. Before he was born I designed his nursery as a quiet calm retreat in soft shades of ivory, pale green, soft blue and brown. Shortly after he was born I fell in love with a wonderful vintage travel poster (http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Le%20Japon_i3734813_.htm?AID=1577398651) that pulled all the colors of his room together... but also had a shot of RED. I wasn't sure what to do, but I hung it anyhow... and it looks terrific! It adds some fun to an otherwise very peaceful, restrained nursery.
