Lately, since I've been on a quest for the lavender rug, I've been paying particular attention to all rugs as I browse through magazines and the web.
Recently, Amadi Carpets have been featured in both Metropolitan Home (so sad to have to say goodbye) and Veranda. In the Metropolitan Home issue, Dixie Chick Emily Robison's house was featured with the Lily Rug from Amadi Carpets. In Veranda, interior designer Kathryn Ireland put together a gorgeous Spanish Colonial style home and used both a Kilim from Amadi's antique collection as well as a larger scale version of the Lily Rug.

Carpets aside, I love all of these white rooms! I think I'm getting tired of really intense wall colors. Or maybe I'm just craving light now that winter is almost upon us.
Those rugs are undeniably beautiful.
Seriously, though, looking at Amadi's website, you have to inquire about prices. And we all know that if you have to inquire about prices, you can't afford it.
I love white, but if you live in NY (or a big city) you have to be really on top of your cleaning or it ends up looking dirty -- and whatever you put against the white walls tends to look dirty (unless it is either super clean or medium/dark colored). I've got washable off-white slipcovers for my sofa (it took three washings to get the seat cushions clean -- I have two little gray and white doggies), curtains that are washable (not dry clean only), a black and white kitchen rug that goes into the washer every week or every other week... You get the idea. It's a commitment!
is this apartment in brooklyn on robeling? if so looks totally different from the street and from what i thought it would.
Citipearl, thanks for real-world feedback. I have a dog and two cats, so my vision of a pristine white house might not translate well to real life.
The bedroom in the second picture is beautiful and the lily rugs works great because its a large room..if this room were any smaller I would feel like the rug is swallowing the space.
As for the multi colored one this would look great in a industrial style loft over concrete floors and simple interiors.
I wonder where the bed is from in the second picture, anyone know?
Yay for the use of "I" instead of "we!"
Love the patterns!
