Do you have hardwood floors? Many of us do, but keeping them looking their best can be tricky. Sure, mopping helps, but think of this trick as the icing on the cake. And by cake we mean floors and by icing... well you get the idea.

We stopped in at Broccoli Cupcake to check out the latest adventures from Cali who always has something fun up her sleeve. Recently she took on the task of taking her hard wood floors to the next level with a little black tea.

The idea is simple. Boil a kettle and add three bags of black tea. Allow to steep and then bust out your mop (or mop cover). Soak in the tea and then wipe down your already swept floors. Cali says it leaves behind a fresh scent, shines the floors up well and is a great final touch on those days where you might have a few extra minutes.
