Hi, this is my board! Welcome to any NY area Curees or other folks interested in dropping in on these conversations....
Hi There! I'm real excited to get started with everyone. My girlfriend is moving in which means a fresh start for us both!
I have a two room studio in Midtown Manhattan and will be doing the deep cure including bathroom, kitchenette and two rooms.
My biggest challenge is plaster walls - I have been told by a contractor that I will need to skim coat the place to get a quality finish (=$$$).
If the opportunity arises I would be interested in helping out a deserving person or family with their cure.
Hi Douglas, yes, skim coating is really really nice and DOES make a difference. I found it worth the money. It's be great to see your apt, so send us in some pics!
Hi looking forward to getting started. I did my living room and bathroom on the fall cure, nout on schedule, but still and looking foreword to the monster mess that is the bedroom...
I'll be posting some pics of our kitchen paint job, I'm trying to decide whether to change it, not sure if the color is right.
I'll have some leftover BM Aura paint and primer to share as well--i bought too much :(
Hi, Maxwell
we've actually already started, but looking forward to sharing ideas and getting support from the group. We're also hoping to include the backyard in the Cure.
Is the Flickr group set up yet?
Hi...
I am excited to start The Cure. I have what would be a great 1 bedroom apartment but with all the clutter it feels like a studio. I am looking forward to The Cure and getting support from the the group.
Rodd
Hi :)
I'm finally ready to do the cure. For the most part, I'm really happy with my apartment as it is; I spent all of last year de-cluttering my apartment and for once I don't feel weighed down by unused/unwanted things. I'm hoping to bring some color (paint!!) and an improved way of organising to my home.
...and figure out what to do with my very small but blossoming art collection.
Hi Everyone,
It's really great to read about how inspired and motivated you all are to get started! Congratulations!
I've tried doing the Cure on my own a couple of times and haven't succeeded. I'm excited to be trying it again in a different setting... online and with a community. I've got tons to tackle: the clutter on my dining room table, which includes unfinished projects; clearing out closets and cabinets; repairing our bathroom; renovating the kitchen; repairing our LR window frames, among other things. If I can address one of these home issues I would be extremely satisfied.
I look forward to our progress.
Hi all,
Alas, I'm having trouble with the spring cure pages on this site, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to communicate on the boards. Things will definitely be happening at home though. I have an entryway to cure.
Can someone explain to me what exactly this is and how i get involved? I am in the midst of re-doing my living room and bedroom and would love some support and guidance!
lviox, if you are new to the Cure, get a book (Apartment Therapy: The Eight-Step Home Cure) from the library or a bookstore; or wait for the weekly posts here at AT.
Also, check out the Flickr group for inspirations and discussions: http://www.flickr.com/groups/homecure/
Iviox, Apartment Therapy hosts group 'cures' where everyone works together on their homes and shares their progress. With the last cure, photos were shared on the photo-sharing site, flickr. With this round, it looks like folks are to submit directly to Apartment Therapy. I'll try to do both, but I'm having so many technical problems with these spring cure main pages on AT that I'll probably end up chatting more at a new, non-regional flickr group that Nudik and I and some other previous curers just set up to keep in touch with our progress via photos and discussion. You can join us here:
http://www.flickr.com/groups/homecure
Wherever you are, wherever you go, whenever you start, good luck with the process!! Maxwell's Home Cure book is very helpful.
AT: My technical difficulties stem from the newer pages such as the home tours and these new spring cure pages. I work on a Mac running OSX and bounce between older versions of Firefox and Safari. Due to some other software that I need to run, I cannot upgrade my OS just yet, and thus, I can't upgrade my browsers. Most sites do not pose issues for me.
You can also join the unofficial flickr group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/881614@N20/
I'm in my second round of AT. For the past year, I've done a lot of decluttering. Have a but more of that to do, and a few rooms left to cure. So far I've painted the living area and the office/guest room. I have pics uploaded on the flickr group I posted above. Though I've done more works since those pics were taken. I live in Astoria, in a "1 bedroom" that does seem more studio-like. It's pretty small. Me and my boyfriend are getting a dog, and want to really simplify everything, cut down on all the "stuff" and really make the space work for us.
Cheers, and good luck to all!
Jessi
yeah disregard my flickr link...I must have missed it in the post above, and I posted the old group link. Overtired posting not a good idea.
Hi all, welcome to this new version. Scott and I will keep track of the technical issues you mention and try to fix them. Please feel free to use the Flickr groups, but DO submit your pics if you want them posted. It's just much easier for us to keep track of you when you're all in one place.
We start tomorrow!
I *love* the Cure! Thanks to the Cure, my 400 square foot apartment that I share with my husband is actually in pretty good shape. But it can always be improved. I get dust allergies, so I think I'll focus on keeping it really clean and getting the right bedding. Also, we're planning on moving in a few months, so some prepartory de-cluttering will be great.
Great timing with Spring Break just starting. I'm looking to be inspired by everyone else. I'm getting married in May to my sweetie, so I want our 500 sq foot apartment to be an even better refuge than it already is. We have lots of goals for our abode: We want to cook more, he needs a digital recording studio and storage for four guitars and a keyboard, I need an inspiring workspace for a combination of design and computer work. Did I mention we have a three-legged cat? and some bicycles? Good luck to everyone!
hi everyone
got the book, read it, and spilled tea on it, so i guess i'm officially ready to go!
My book doesn't arrive until Friday.
What am I supposed to be doing this week?
Greetings!
I already have a mucho neglected blog, so i will probably post all the trauma there.
But I am certainly doing the DEEP TREATMENT instead of the one-room. I scored a '4'.
http://unspeakablecaterpillar.blogspot.com/
I am pumped, because the 'housewarming' will very neatly coincide with my 28th birthday. Here's to outliving Jim, Jimi & Janis, as well as finally having a good grownup apartment that doesn't look like the set from trainspotting.
Will post here:
http://bromeliadliving.blogspot.com/search/label/Spring%20Cure%202009
Don't have the book yet but got the general idea that fresh flowers are a good start.
I can't wait to get started on this cure. We have just settled into a new place so there's lots to be done. We're redecorating/ renovating our dining room at the same time but I wanted to get the whole house in order as well. I'll be blogging updates here:
www.vintage-green.blogspot.com
Dear bromeliad,
Before your book comes, simply get ready to clean, clean, clean this week. Start now or set aside a good chunk of the weekend. That, making a list of repairs and visioning a room that you'd like to transform would be the best way to get started...
Best, Maxwell
I started the fall cure for my living room/kitchen/library/office and I didnt finish. Too multi-purposed and it got complicated. I live in a two room studio. So this time I'm going to try with my other room. I've got my inspiration, possible paint and the rug.
My other room I use as a dressing room/storage and to be honest I don't like the room - never have. The room is an odd trapezoid shape - think square then push one corner in, & a North facing window in a noisy light well. I have one (1) tiny closet, 24" in the whole apartment. I have a rolling rack that I use to hang my clothes. All off season items go in the closet.
I've been thinking of getting the elfa closet system for one wall and some seating- bench or ottoman. It needs lighting and maybe a small table. No dressers or amoires, nor built ins. I can possibly use it also as my office/library nook. I would have to move the bookcase unit -big & heavy from the other room, and get a new computer/tv monitor to use instead my tv unit in the other room. (possibility)
I still have books left over from last time, moving boxes and odds and ends to declutter. Eight weeks here we go
Maxwell,
Thanks much. Already cleaned the closet.

Working on the kitchen.
Room to be transformed: the foyer/landing strip
I've done all the Cures except one, although each one to a different degree. As a result, my place is in pretty good shape, in terms of clutter and being routinely pretty clean and orderly. I find the Cure to be very inspiring for getting things moving. I think I'm doing the deep cleaning this time. I've already gotten rid of a piece of furniture that I was holding onto, but that really needed to go (in bad shape), got moving on some paperwork that was clogging my place, and started some cleaning in the kitchen, which I can never finish in the allotted week. Also, I'm reading the book again and enjoying it immensely. I have a repair list that I keep in the book--on the repair page--and move things off the list to the back cover as I accomplish them. I have a difficult time keeping up with repairs and the Cure is my kick in the butt. I've gotten quite a bit done on repairs during the Cure times. My goal is to stay current on repairs, but it hasn't happened yet. I am getting closer though.
I'm in DC, but will be posting here too.
Minanina,
FYI, The Container Store has Elfa 30% off right now.
Hi
We started the fall cure - but somehow work got us waylaid. We have a small 1 bedroom 500sq ft- my husband's been in it for nearly 10 years - and I moved in just a little over 12 months ago with a few of my pieces of furniture and 2 dogs. Aside from a 2 feature walls - he's never done anything major.
I am waiting for the book (losing the book - a sign that a cure was needed) - and while that is going on - have started a massive spring clean.
One of our problems - my couch is huge, red and leather and comfortable and a convertible bed - and 8 inches too wide. His is fabric and neutral and comfy for one - prim and proper for 2. Donate or re-size the leather one - which was custom made for my previous apt?
I'm pretty excited and hoping that come my birthday mid May - it will be done and ready for a small cocktail hour with friends.
I semi cured last go around but got sidetracked by life and unemployment.
Speaking of Elfa - has anyone tried the CB2 Helix shelf? How does it compare to other wall mounted units? I want to Elfa our office but mr. deathstar wants something more polished.

mdeathstar
Elfa is good - if you get the narrowest shelf - it looks like the books are floating on the wall.
Hi,
I'm pretty excited about joining the Spring Cure. Already the fur is flying with DH not wanting to part with anything although most of our stuff is mismatched gifts or Ikea.
Cleaned the house yesterday. But apparently I have no sense of style and no idea how to arrange furniture so it flows well. I'm looking forward to learning about this in the next 8 weeks.
Hi everyone,
This will be my second time 'curing' - I did it a year and a half ago, as well. I didn't go through with all of my ideas, but got quite a bit done. I rent a single room in a larger apartment, so I have limited influence over the common areas, but made a lot of good changes to my bedroom (the biggest changes: painting the floor, repainting all of the walls, and bringing my piano back to the space).
I'm actually moving at the end of July, so like Lizzie I will be thinking of this as a kind of declutter as well as a cure, though I do still want to make my place a bit more livable over the next 8 weeks. I've just finished writing a dissertation, and it has caused me to more or less neglect my domestic space for the last few months. I have way too many books and things are far too cluttered.
I'll probably be doing the fall cure, too -- in my own beautiful new space in Providence, RI! I must say I'm looking forward to a salary and my own place, after several years of sharing.
We always do the Cure in some way, and this week we kicked off with a top to bottom cleaning, separating out of old clothes and Sara Kate's cooking a big meal for four guests tonight. A dinner like this always gets us going.
It just occurred to both of us last night that we don't have 6 chairs? Only 4. I'll be borrowing two more from our neighbor later on today...
How do you like these local threads???
My big accomplishment of the weekend - I finally solved my closet door problem! The old doors had been bothering me for years and I couldn't find new ones that would open the way I wanted. So I took apart the old doors, wallpapered them, and then hung them in a new way. SO MUCH better.
Sadly I forgot to take a before picture but the after shot is here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/mdeathstar/3375816770/
mdeathstar - wow - tell us how you fixed them?
The old door was a bi-fold door (like this except much more ugly and not real wood).
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.johnson-doors.co.uk/images/Oak_3_Panel_Setting.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.johnson-doors.co.uk/Joinery/Engineered%2520Bifold%2520Doors.htm&usg=__g7ilSY4Wd24vy3_lCT3t_R
So I took off the middle door hinges which left me with 2 doors. I then wall papered them and bought some regular door hinges which I attached to the sides and voila. It was actually really easy even though it took me 6 months from concept to reality :)
I am doing the cure for the fourth time, last fall I was planning to do the one room cure on my Bedroom, but did not get past the organizing stage. This time I am doing a decorative redo of my bedroom, and I plan to spend very little $$. I will also do a deep clean on the rest of the apt., thanks to the previous cure's I am very organized.
I just purchased a beautiful blue paisley duvet form Overstock for only 23.99 this will be the focal point of the whole room. This weekend I painted an IKEA box bright blue, that holds my jewelry, washed all of the windows and embellished a plain white bed skirt with some ribbon trim. Next weekend I hope to paint my bedside table and organize my desk area. I will post some before and after photos when
soon.
Here is my set, the livingroom was done in the fall cure, same with bath and kitchen though both are not finished, just a few more things.
Bedroom is DEEP Cure!!!

I am going to join this too. (do I have to do anything besides post here to sign up?) We have a 3 BR apartment in Brooklyn and the bedrooms (used as a bedroom, office and den) have all become dump rooms. It's horrible. We need some major organization in each room, and I'm hoping the cure can get me started and at least organize one of these spaces.
I still need to get the book. I know a friend of mine has it; looks like all of the NYPL and Brooklyn library copies are out.
Hi Pixie. I think we're cure addicts. I've only missed one as well, but with each one there's marked improvement.
New Post is up and I just sent out the email as well....
we should all be twittering this.....
So I like the space and shelves inside the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. I hate the sliding mirror door in front though. I wonder if I can DIY a hinged mirror rather than replace the entire cabinet? Or if it would just not be worth the effort.
Twitter would not be a bad idea for this-- it would provide a feed in any case.
I've decided to concentrate on rethinking our den since we are probably going to redo the floors in the other two rooms soon and everything will have to be reorganized then anyway. I've posted photos of the den on Flickr and funnily got some advice from one of my Flickr/RL friends. That got me thinking that the room should really be transformed into a craft/office/studio for me, and that the TV/den aspect of it should be moved into our living room. So now I am mulling that over and wondering how we can make that work without a huge furniture purchase...
I still haven't received my confirmation email for signing up...is that something that takes a few days?
I feel like I have gone crazy with the cleaning, I realized one task just bleeds into the next....I haven't even made all my worksheets yet(but I realize now I have powered further ahead in the the book)... In order to clean in NYC one must move so much STUFF. No wonder my apartment is so dirty. Key realization, if it were easier to clean I would happily clean it more often.
My outbox is gigantic tho.
**How do we download the lists??? The link wasn't working for me.
The economic slowdown has been very good for this freelancer's Cure.
Thanks.
tles - I couldn't agree with you more. You move one thing and it dominoes.
I've taken this cure in small stages. I clean 1 hour every night with small accomplishable tasks set. I finish each task and a little more. By Sat I've done five hours of cleaning and it didn't hurt and wasn't tiring.
My big problem though is getting rid of the stuff. Only 1 recycling day a week and carting stuff off to donate. Man that takes time.
Thank you for the clarifying tip minanina...I love the one hour at a time idea. It's so important to have clear small tasks and steps.
Totally agreed about the carting stuff off bit. I'm VERY lucky to have a place to put that right now, but disposing it will require several trips to the salvation army which will be the better part of a day (and schlepping down 4 flights of stairs). Is there a thrift store near your work that you could drop off a bag on your lunch hour? Or before returning home?
Making progress here:
cabinets 1/3 cleaned out
old food gone
bottles glasses wiped down
**Does anyone have a fail safe way to fix a crumbling hot water pipe?**
Thanks,
T
Today I was inspired to make a new duvet cover to recharge my bedroom. I got some Ikea fabric and a cheap billion thread count sheet and went to work. What I didn't realize is now I have to change everything else in the room to make it work.
Pics. here:

I have a ton of stuff to shred from the last cure--got rid of filing cabinet and let go of taxes and receipts and stuff pre-7 years ago. I need a shredding company though to handle it--it is too much for a personal shredder. Any suggestions in NYC?
I did the same thing - I can't believe how much paper I shredded. Why was I keeping my paycheque stubs from 1996?!?
I did my shredding slowly with my personal shredder and in bulk at work. If you have any friends who are lawyers you can probably bring your stuff to their office - lawyers shred a lot of documents.
Cherrybomb
if your in NYC there's a mobile shredding truck that I see all the time. They go to the location and cart stuff to their truck to shred. Its usually offices but I'm pretty sure they don't care if it's not. I guess its now a necessary service and Im pretty sure they have similar businesses elsewhere.
Google mobile shredding co.
My friend recommended this company:

Would anybody like to be my cure buddy? I live in the East Village...
Maybe Douglas J. Clark?
Also, anybody know a good, not too expensive upholsterer in Manhattan? Somebody who can pick up the chair and drop it off when it's finished?
Finally, does anybody have a sure cure for grout between white floor tiles? I've tried leaving Kaboom on overnight, and that didn't do anything at all.
dory8
are you trying to get the grout to whiten? If so hardware stores sell a small pen like tool that has a sponge on it...you are then able to whiten between the tiles.

Hi, Maxwell,
Regarding the local threads: I'm not sure where I'm suppose to add comments - here or on the mail Cure post of the day. Both are fine with me, but their roles don't seem to be clearly defined.
Thanks!
Hello, New York! What did you all get done this weekend? I know it's the wrong Cure week, but I got lots done in "office" (not exactly an office, since I live in a studio apartment). Saturday morning I went through all of the electronics/computer stuff and was able to get rid of lots of stuff and the three-drawer, plastic storage bin they were in. Even better, I was able to weed through all of our papers and pulled out so much that the stack to shred was 6 inches high. This is despite the fact that I last went through the files only 9 months ago. I put each manila file in its own hanging file folder and got two clear file boxes (Staples on sale for $9.99 each). It's so nice to be able to look through the boxes and see which files are in which box. Cheap thrills!
I love reading what others are accomplishing - keep posting, please!
I have to say, Maxwell, your book brings me close to tears sometimes. So far, although I'm focusing on the living room, I've done a deep cleaning of the whole downstairs (living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom), and have painted (but not finished) the downstairs bathroom, giving it a color scheme (rather than white tiles and white paint, it's now gray and red). New pillows on the couch and less clutter are big improvements in the living room, but there's much more to do. Sigh.
Thank you for suggesting the pen for the grout, tles. I'll try it.
JonathanB - I just saw your comment. Yes, I revel in Cure addiction! I get so much done! It's such an excellent boot-in-the-butt.
I got the book today! Very exciting! (yes, I'm behind.)
So, part of my cure involves moving the TV out of our "den" (which I"m turning into my office/craft room). A main issue is that the TV is large, and we don't want it to dominate the living room. Ideally I'd like to get a cabinet for it, so we can close the doors and it will go away. But it's 42" and I can't find anything like that. (ok, I only looked at Ikea) The only things with doors are for smaller TVs.
Does anyone have a source for a good, fairly inexpensive way to hide my TV?
Dear Eliza,
Here's a great idea, though I don't know how "flat" your tv is:
http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/at-email/how-to-hide-your-tv-monitor-with-style-080373
Other than that, I would urge you to keep it low down (on a low cabinet or tv stand) and cover it rather than try to put a big box around it...
Hi Maxwell,
Yes, I saw that post. I think it's rather ingenious, but my TV is too big, and I don't have a fireplace!
I guess I'm thinking of sewing some sort of cover for it at the moment, though that might actually draw attention to it. I did a flickr search for "tv cozy" and mostly got lots of comfy tv set ups. I am also nervous that it would look Holly Hobby-ish.
or book-in-the-butt
Douglas,
You can skim coat yourself. Or just to a Behr venetian plaster finish on the walls for a lovely rich, muted color while fortifiying the plaster on your walls. It's easy, I promise. I've done both myself on my old walls and the results have been marvelous :)
Hi Everybody
we are at the halfway point now and so I thought it would be a good idea to provide an update.
Apartment-Wide Change:
We had someone come in to skim coat our walls and do the painting for us (maybe it is cheating but I am just not a handy type of person) as well as take care of the lighting changes. Everything should be done by this Thursday. It is striking. As for the walls - all the cracks, bubbles, chips, grooves, and dents are all gone. In terms of the lighting - there is so much more depth and character. I can not believe how much of a difference it has made; the apartment has truly been transformed.
Kitchen:
The space was painted a Deep Burgundy with the area over the appliances left in white for contrast (and to make it feel a bit larger). We added track lighting with a dimmer switch in the small kitchen area (what a difference). The full size fridge has gone in favor of a dorm fridge which is providing the support for a coutertop (I nearly cried when I saw it installed). We moved our small microwave which used to sit on top of the fridge and put it on a shelf underneath our cabinets. At this point we are putting up a wine bottle holder, glass holder, and pot rack.
Bathroom:
The room was painted Old Navy Blue and was complimented by a new vanity and medicine cabinet (in white). We are now putting together a cabinet for storage over the toilet and possibly adding a mirror to one of the walls to make the space feel a bit larger and brighter.
Middle Room:
We took out the Murphy bed bookcase and put back the half of the arch taken out when it was installed. The walls in this room were skim coated and painted Yosemite Sand and the trim is white. A ceiling fan has now been installed as well.
Front Room:
We took down the TV and stereo which had been up close to the ceiling on shelves like you see in bars and restaurants. Track lighting has also been installed here with a dimmer switch. The walls here were also skim coated and painted Yosemite Sand.
Next Step:
1. Figure out what to sleep on
2. Figure out what to sit on
3. Figure out what to eat on
4. Decorate with style
** Feels like I have everything still to do!
My work on the Cure this time around has been piecemeal, and definitely not on schedule! I'm hoping to post some pics this week and next.
This is what I've done so far (a few things are pre-cure, but I'll count them anyway):
- installed custom closets in hall closet and other closet; involved purging stuff in both
- installed Elfa desk in small dressing room area
- got rid of old Ikea desk in bedroom
- bought chair for new reading nook in bedroom
- installed wall unit in entryway
- removed old "dining" table and coffee table
- moved TV to opposite wall
- ordered new dining table and TV unit
- framed art; waiting for final furniture placement to hang
- bought new lamps and new bedding
Stay tuned!
Hi folks,
My cure blog is http://turi-lives.blogspot.com/
Changes so far:
* Lots of things thrown and given away
* Bedroom storage bringing in light not dismay
* A gentler less crowded hall
* New bedside area with happy little Kartell table
Things in the works:
* Art to hang
I'd love to work on the kitchen, bath and living room in greater depth... but what I really need to figure out is how I get a desk worked into the place.
Please visit the blog and leave me comments. :)
On my to-do list is check out building that deck. I'm allowed by the building to put up a deck on the little roof outside my bedroom window - if I can get permits to do so and can afford to do it.
I have no idea where to start. Any ideas?
See the space on my cure blog at http://turi-lives.blogspot.com/
Ok, so a couple of weeks ago I posted on the work completed in terms of physical upgrades to the apartment. The bones are now all in order (and what a tremendous difference that has made!). So here is an update on the "Next Steps" I listed:
1. Figure out what to sleep on
Having gotten rid of the murphy bed we are temporarily sleeping on my girlfriends full size bed. We don't want to use a traditional bed and have decided to get a sofa bed. Having gone through the recent post and the stores listed we decided upon the dawson sofa at Room and Board with titan smoke covering (Thanks to Jason for all his patience and help).
2. Figure out what to sit on
We still have my old potomic aprtment sofa which we will use as we continue our search for seating options that will not take too much space. We saw alot of things at Room & Board that we liked but I think we are going to wait until our sleeper arrives so we will have a sense of how it looks in our space and what would really go with it.
3. Figure out what to eat on
We like the parsons tables (18 x36 x 35 glass) and will get one to eat on and another to serve as a computer workstation.
4. Decorate with style
We went onto AllPosters.com and have gone through alot of prints we like but are having a tough time deciding. The wall color is yosemite sand - funny the color that can go with so many things is making it harder to decide what to do with the space.
The kitchen is now complete. We put up the pot racks, the wine bottle holder, and the undershelf glass rack. I love being in the space. I think I would love to find a bar stool (wooden/ butcher block looking) that can fold flat that I can hang on the wall to conserve space but provide a place to sit.
The batroom is just about done. I just have to build the over-toilet shelving unit and put up some hooks for bath towels and some art as well.
It is exciting to have my girlfriend moving in; doing the cure with her has made it even better. Right now we are also waist deep in moving boxes. I will post pics as soon as I can.
Hey all, I wanted to invite you over to a new flickr group called -home-: www.flickr.com/groups/-home-
Consider it a place to hang out and talk about home projects and design obsessions in between official Apartment Therapy cures.
I hope you'll join us!
Hello All, I'm hoping this is going to help me finish up! Moved in 3 years ago. Lived in an empty 1965 apt on a blow up bed with a TV on a box for a year and then the bathroom reno began. That's done and I did the kitchen on a dime myself. It's the details now, the ones that are so easy to overlook and forget about. Maybe I'll torture myself and publish a check list. Apartment humiliation therapy! Best to All.
I was a tourist in New York City and was looking for an apartment to rent for some period of time. Founding an apartment in Manhattan is very difficult but with the help of Metro-Homes Properties I was able to find an apartment that suited my specific needs. Metro-Homes Properties has a bunch of types of apartment for short and long term rentals located in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. For all those interested check their website at http://www.aptnewyork.com/
