No pun intended (well, maybe a little!) but a glimpse into SquirrelPearl's (aka Imacookoo) beguiling blue living areas -- den, dining room, kitchen -- which we found on the Apartment Therapy Group Pool, were like diving into a refreshing pool, just the thing for perking up a cloudy Friday morning!
This has only wet our appetite for seeing a full tour!
- Curtains and art by Lisa Congdon from Urban Outfitters
- Newly painted record cabinet
- Looking from the den into the dining room and into the kitchen beyond
- The floor tile in the kitchen will soon be replaced with hardwood
- A look at some new finds

Love the colors and the bright whites! Does anyone know what the wall color in the dining room is?
Love the set of 3 canisters on the kitchen counter! I've seen them elsewhere before too, where are they from?!
Ohhhhhhhh how lovely! I love these shades of blue! How sweet!
Really cute place!
Tingtong, the canisters are Orla Kiely for Target. They're not available anymore, but last I checked, there were lots on ebay.
I love everything about this house! My dream!
Cute place. But it's *whet.*
pippigirl, i'm with you. it's the same problem as mantle/mantel, palette/palate and other homonyms. and it's a problem that no amount of spellchecking will ever fix. grrr. and it is a cute place.
Thanks for sharing our home!
Kraisin: The paint color in the dining room is the ever popular Silver Sage by Benjamin Moore. The paint in these three rooms are all slightly different, I've tagged the rooms with paint color names and brands on flickr in this photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/imacookoo/4354038883/
I'd love to do a home tour Abby, what do I do?!
Where did you get those wall sconces? I love them!
My first thought was I LOVE those curtains and where did you get them, until I remembered I already had one and had been using it as a table cloth. What a nerd I am.
I love the splashes of color, esp the aqua, all over your house.
squirrelpearl,
email me at abby@apartmenttherapy.com and i'll give you the dets.

jlyn2723-- the sconces look like the lillholmen ones from ikea. I have them in my bathroom and they're lovely. One detail that doesn't show up in pictures is that there's a subtle, simple flower pattern on the glass dome; I really like it.
I love the wooden whale on your mantle, where did you get it from?
Thank you clnclarinet! You know what's funny? I saw the sconces here and thought "Those would look good in my bathroom!" Nearly all the hardware and accessories in my bathroom are from the Lillholmen series.
I think we have the same dining chairs! I have an entire set with a table that I acquired from a nice elderly couple on Craigslist. Do you know anything about them? I've been trying to find out more info on them, to no avail.
jlyn2723- Yes, the sconces are from ikea! For the longest I thought we had installed them wrongside up, but at a recent ikea trip, I saw that's how they were in the store as well!
AngelaDee76- The wooden whale is vintage, sorry I can't help you more on that one! Perhaps etsy or ebay might find you one similar?
ekmac116- Our dining room chairs are actually mix and match, two each from two different sets! I just recovered the seats to make them all match! I checked for maker info, but none on either set!
