Stacie shares her own DIY project, inspired by posts on Apartment Therapy — I really loved Amanda, Phil, and Matt's House Tour | A Bright & Beautiful Bungalow From An Ohio Trio feature and the DIY follow-up An Easy Do-It-Yourself Statement Sign…
…Here's my take on the project. I painted first with yellow paint, then applied the vinyl letters, followed by white spray paint. I really love the results, and now my bedroom is more fun! Thanks for my daily dose of inspiration!

No apostrophe in the "ill" is bugging me. Other than that, nice job!
Love, love, love that Stars song. What a great band.
I love the colors here! I MUST know where you got that gorgeous bedspread-is it a quilt? Lovely!
Stars! <3
Hello!
I am so pumped that my room is here on Apartment Therapy!
I really wish that I could have found an apostrophe vinyl for the "I'll" in the lyric. Sorry about the grammatical error.
I guess I could have made some by hand... oh well, I still love them in my room!

Oh, the quilt is 3 years old from my favorite store Anthropologie!
I am glad that you like the colors! My room is quite happy!
i <3 stars. this is perfect!
thanks for the info! I'm moving into a studio and really want a color scheme that is both bright and soft, sweet and sophisticated...this fits the bill! well done!
Awesome band! LOVE that you chose their lyrics.
I too loved this idea and had a large 3 x 3 (or so) canvas painting that I had outgrown. I looked up the meaning of my name - from several different sources - and chose the words and characteristics that I liked. I ended up with 10 words in a black/white/gray/yellow color scheme. LOVE it! Wish I could post a picture!
How funny, I'm listening to Stars right now! Love the idea.
