Take a look at this laser-cut, damask-patterned, polished stainless steel room divider from Italian company De Castelli, an exciting twist on a classic pattern that creates a virtual separation between rooms...
The Damasco room divider is available in Paris at +Bô (8 rue St-Merri in the 4th arrondissement; no website).

oooo so pretty.
Sooo pretty - but I think you'd be saying "ouch" a lot if you owned it.
Oooh! But yeah, I do wonder if it hurts to brush by.
Love it. But not an option - my kitties get the 'crazies' whereby they must run amok at all costs. Those edges look a little dangerous.
Love them but my cats would probably kill themselves.
They look like individual strands - would probably get tangled something awful.
You'll poke your eye out!
I love it -- went to the link and (as I possibly predicted) it's all in Francais ... I need a US/UK/CAN website in English to actually order it... a little disappointing :o(
No thanks!
I love the concept, but the pattern is a bit much. We've been looking at something to form a visual separation in our living/dining room. Is there anything out there similar and more cleanlined? We thought about ball chain, but it seemed a bit too plain.
I keep thinking . . . metal "paper-cuts".
